Expectant fashion

Today's post (as asked by one of our followers!) is about fashion for pregnant ladies. Some of our friends (surprisingly enough:)) have taken the road of increasing the population of planet Earth. For that brave and fair decision, they deserve all the beauty of the world. We want to have our contribution in that cause:)
Not sure if it’s the fashion designers or the women who are busy with more important things in life, but fashion and pregnancy seem to look different directions. We believe that all ladies no matter which period of their lives they are, deserve more than boring jeans and gray, shapeless dresses. Here we have some tips on what can be the alternatives:

A loose dress doesn't have to be boring. Choosing a dress with a modern shape, beautiful patterns or/ and nice material will definitely update any look.

Nicole Richie
Sarah Michelle Gellar

Nicole Richie

Cool t-shits teamed up with skinny jeans or leggings, plus a black leather jacket, give that edgy look that seemed impossible for a pregnant lady. We, ladies, rock!

Natalie Portman

Giselle Bundchen

Wait, who said that pregnancy and minidress is like a swimming in a ball gown. We have no idea about swimming in a gown; never tried (coz of missing swimming skills:), but minidresses are a very good solution for growning baby-bumps. When upper half of the body changes, the legs usually stay in the same shape. So why not wear a loose minidress that covers up upper body and show off those slim legs.

Kate Hudson

Miranda Kerr

Empire-waist dresses are a great style both for special occasions and for everyday. Who invented them again? FYI, Google says that they became popular in France in the beginning of 1800 with Napoleon :)

Gwen Stefani

Halle Berry

Layered tops or dresses are another great way of covering up the belly. It also looks fresh and chic, no matter is it a walk ouside or for a friend's wedding.

Ashlee Simpson

Natalie Portman

A loose cardigan (knitted or soft textile) gives the outfit 'that little extra' and coveres and warms up and slims down. Whenever unsure, go for a loose cardigan, we say:)

Nicole Richie

Claudia Schiffer

Cool accessories as a bright skarf, a hat, fine shoes, an it-bag, shades to-die-for, instantly updates whatever 'plain' outfit there is and derive the attention from 'a bigger body part' to something else.
